MCA 2018 Finalists – Performance Improvement

TURNER & TOWNSEND SUIKO and Tarmac have been recognised for their strategic business transformation partnership, in this year’s shortlist for the prestigious 2018 MCA Awards (Management Consultancies Association).  Alongside four other top consultancy firms, Turner & Townsend Suiko and Tarmac have been announced as 2018 finalists for the coveted  ‘Performance Improvement in the Private Sector’ award.

Now entering their 21st year, the MCA awards continue to dominate the UK consulting calendar, attracting a rich diversity of management consulting firms and consultants annually. 30 of the UK’s leading consulting firms will compete at this year’s illustrious ceremony on Thursday 26th April at The Park Plaza, Westminster. Overall winners are decided by an independent panel of expert judges following face-to-face finalist interviews.

Andy Marsh, Managing Director, Turner & Townsend Suiko, commented:

“We are delighted to be recognised for our work with Tarmac. The blended expertise of Suiko’s operational excellence discipline and Tarmac’s asphalt production was powerfully combined to create a world-class continuous improvement model, resulting in significant benefits in improved performance, cost, cash and long-term profit.  It is no mean feat to be shortlisted in such a competitive category, against the UK’s best consultants, including The Big Four Accountancy firms. These awards are hugely important for the entire industry and for us, they serve as a constant reminder to reinforce our commitment to our clients for professional and operational excellence.”

Bill McElroy, Managing Director – Advisory, Turner & Townsend, added:

“I’d like to add my congratulations to the team. The results they’ve driven for Tarmac provide a powerful illustration, to our wider client base, of the savings that can be derived from the application of Suiko’s Operational Excellence methodology.”
